Promise and Investiture

When your child has attended for four weeks, they will make their promise.

When your child makes their promise they will receive their neckerchief and a woggle (that represents the colour of their lodge).

There are different versions of the promise and you can choose which promise you would like your child to say during their investiture.

For Christians, Jews and Sikhs:

I promise to do my best

to be kind and helpful

and to love God.

For humanists, atheists and those with no defined faith:

I promise to do my best

to be kind and helpful

and to love our world.

For Hindus and Buddhists:

I promise to do my best

to be kind and helpful

and to love my Dharma.

For Muslims:

I promise to do my best

to be kind and helpful

and to love Allah.
